Meet Chad
Born and raised in Colorado, Chad grew up in the Lakewood and Summit County areas. Soon after high school graduation, Chad jumped into the ski industry teaching skiing in Lake Tahoe, Switzerland and Vail, earning his full teaching certification.
Chad returned to Denver to complete a Bachelor of Arts, Communications degree from Metropolitan State University. Soon after, the marketing department at Vail Resorts hired Chad to oversee their Corporate Sponsorships Program where he worked with Coors, Coca-Cola, Chevrolet, Atlas Snowshoes, and Sprint Communications. Chad also worked with the Vail sponsored Olympic athletes and skied with VIP guests such as Robert Kennedy Jr., Peter Jennings, and Forbes Family. His strong relationships with many of his partners and friends led to a sales position at Coca-Cola and Chad returned to the Denver front range.
Successful in his sales role and building relationships in the community, Chad’s pursued his real estate dream following in his father (Alan Kested) and father-in-law (Lou Kinzli's) footsteps. Chad currently lives in Genesee with his wife and two kids who attend Golden High School. Chad still loves to ski and also enjoys golfing, travel and watching his kids play soccer. My husband got all the paperwork in order and his hard work really paid off. Chad was there with suggestions on making appropriate offers and how to counter offer if needed. "We have had the pleasure of working with Chad 2 different times, first as buyers and then as sellers. We moved to CO as part of a relocation with my employer. Chad was experienced in corporate relocations and had no issues navigating the paperwork and hurdles that are sometimes associated with such transactions. "Chad is a neighbor and friends of ours of about four years, and choosing him as our realtor for this recent Denver home purchase was an easy decision. He grew up in the area and knows the neighborhoods extremely well, plus in our conversations with him realize that he has become a real expert in every aspect of the real estate market. We needed to purchase a home for our daughter and grandson, and so between budget, good schools and neighborhood, we had some fairly tight requirements, which in the current market made staying on top of every new home that came on the market very critical. Chad worked closely with us and together we found what looked to be the perfect property, and this is where his expertise really kicked in, getting a top notch home inspection done and walking us through the property noting in detail it's strengths and a few shortcomings.
